Seward, AK

Last weekend we went to Seward, AK to celebrate Jason's birthday. We stayed in an adorable cabin right on Resurrection Bay. It was so beautiful!! The water came right up to the cabin porch during high tide, and we fell asleep listening to the waves. It was literally a little slice of heaven. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend. It was pretty rainy, so we weren't able to get outside as much as we planned, but we still went for a couple long walks along the water.
Gorgeous drive to Seward
Our cabin- "Cloud 9"

Relaxing in the rockers

Walking out on the rocks during low tide
 Driftwood trees
Beautiful waterfall along the coastal road
Small avalanche on the narrow road bordering the water- slightly scary!

One of the highlights of the weekend was seeing the wildlife! We saw seals, bald eagles and sea otters right out our cabin window!

So good!

It was a great relaxing weekend!! We are looking forward to making a trip back in June when my parents come visit!

Another post coming soon!
