Exploring

The last two weekends Jason and I have gone snowshoeing and exploring. Our snowshoeing trip last weekend was quite the adventure. We decided to try out "The Windy Trail" which is an uphill trail going along the side of a mountain overlooking the Seward Highway and the water. It was gorgeous but...a slightly treacherous trek because of the ice!

We are looking forward to a weekend away in 2 weeks for Jason's birthday!!

Snowshoes!

Jason and I got snowshoes for Christmas from my parents and they are a lot of fun!! We've used them twice so far and they're a great workout. We've actually had a "heatwave" since we've been back in AK and some of the snow has melted, but down at the park and on the lake there's still a fair amount!
