Family Galore-- Part 2!!!

At the end of June my parents came to visit! They were here for 10 days and we had an incredible adventure-filled 10 days! We did something fun everyday. It was wonderful, and more than anything, just so nice to have them here and to see them! Here's a recap of their visit :)

We decided to make the climb up Flattop through the clouds! It was an adventure. We were literally in the clouds. I had never experienced anything like it! That's Flattop in the background- we climbed to the top!

 We headed to Denali for 2 nights and had an amazing trip. We did a shuttle ride into the park and saw tons of wildlife: caribou, porcupine, moose, grizzly bear!

The mountains were green and gorgeous!

We took a Jeep ride into the park which was a hilarious bumpy adventure. We had a blast!

We spent our last day at the Anchorage Museum and made one last visit to the mountains.

It truly was an amazing 10 days! I was very sad to my parents go. Thanks Mom and Dad for such a memorable wonderful trip. I had a blast!

Jason's mom, Olive, is here visiting now. Pictures to come! Jason and I will be heading back to CT in a week for a friend's wedding and relaxation at Old Kelsey Point beach. I can't wait!!! We also have some exciting upcoming changes...more to come on that ;)

Family Galore!!--Part 1

Hello, hello again! It has been a while--too long! These past couple months I have been so caught up with visitors and enjoying Alaska, I have done a terrible job of updating my blog! So, here we go! Two blog posts in one week to update you all on our month of June and beginning of July!  

My sister, brother-in-law and niece and nephew came to visit the second week of June and it was wonderful! We were able to explore Anchorage, and even scheduled an impromptu stay at a cabin on a lake, which was amazing! It was so nice to have them here, although very sad to see them go :( I am so grateful that we were able to share Alaska with them. Here are some highlights from their visit!
